Erich was raised in a Suzuki family, but also completed the two-year Suzuki Pedagogy course at New York’s prestigious School For Strings under the tutelage of Pamela Devenport, and he completed his book 9 and 10 certification with Nancy Hair at the Chicago Institute. He has taught most recently at The Brooklyn Music Studio, The Brooklyn Conservatory and Hoff Barthelson Music School. His students have gone on to attend LaGuardia High School of Music, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and Mannes, Manhattan and Juilliard preparatory divisions. He also has former students who have attended Harvard, Yale, and Johns Hopkins Universities, among others. Having moved recently with his wife and two children to the Hudson Valley, he is now thrilled to be coming to Halifax
